1. Head over to
  2. Click Add to slack.

Your browser will redirect you to your Slack app. Next, give a permission to read and create channels. Now, if a user writes any kind of message to you on our chat, you will see all the messages in your Slack channel.

You are done, UserEngage should work, if it doesn’t you can always contact us for support.

Optional: If you want to reply from Slack you must create Outgoing WebHook. It is very easy.

  1. Go to
  2. Click Outgoing WebHooks
  3. Then click Add Outgoing WebHooks integration

  1. Fill up the form
    1. Channel: Any
    2. Trigger Words – word that you must insert to reply to user, e.g “@ue”, everything you will write after this word will be send to user. If you don’t use this word your message will be visible only for your team members.
    3. URL:
    4. Save

Optional 2: You can create Slash command to close conversation with user from Slack.

  1. Go to
  2. Click Slash commands

  1. Insert slash command e.g /ue-close and click Add Slash Command Integration
  2. In next screen insert URL:
  3. When you scroll down you can mark Show this command in the autocomplete list
  4. Save. Ready, now you can close conversation from Slack.
